Directions For Heat Transfer
HEAT PRESS TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS
Note: These recommended time, temperature and pressure settings are for N480-640 heat transfer machines. Settings on other heat presses may vary based
on their inconsistencies.
1. Preproduction
Please check transfers carefully before applying. With the extra transfer provided, cut transfer into 4 pieces and apply on test material until desired results are
achieved. If you are unable to get the desired result, please call us before starting job.
Set temperature at 400 degrees for ink transfers .Close machine and press 5 seconds to heat.
2. Preheat Garment for Ink Transfers
Place garment on platen and press for 5 seconds or until there is no more steam to remove wrinkles and moisture. Check to be sure there are no obstructions
such as buttons, pockets or seams. If there are, raise print area only with Print Perfect pad or mouse pad.
Ink Heat Press – Set transfer sheet ink side down & close machine. When machine opens, peel off transfer paper quickly in a smooth even motion when
hot. These are Hot Peel transfers! 60 lb. pressure.
Rhinestone Heat Press – Pre-heat garment for 5 seconds. Peel off white plastic sheet and dispose of. Place rhinestones down on garment with clear heat
resistant smooth plastic on top & close machine. For fine fabrics such as silk, polysilk, and lycra use temp: 325-340F, light pressure (25-35 lbs) 7-10
seconds. For transfer on Heavier Fabrics use temp: 350F light to medium pressure (30-40 lbs) 10-12 seconds. Once the transfer is on remove garment from
transfer machine and set aside. Let the rhinestone transfer cool. Peel off plastic when transfer is cold. These are Cold Peel transfers!
